Poster: A snowHead

Hi - I am looking to book a last minute trip to 3 valleys or paradiski next month - waiting to see how snow conditions pan out. Anyway - we will be driving but have one person whom we cannot fit in car. (hes over 65 and refuses to go on roof rack)
Any advice / suggestions on booking a last minute flight would be appreciated - preferably Gatwick or any other South East.
Thank you.

Hi @Dippy,
We have quite a few guests booking last minute and in January there are usually plenty of options for flights provided that you don't mind leaving early/being flexible about airports etc.
Sky scanner (http://www.skyscanner.net/) is a good option for looking as it lets you search a variety of airports and companies quickly.
Transfers are a bit harder last minute so it is worth looking at these before booking flights. Bens Bus and Altibus both offer public bus transfers from the airport to 3 valleys and Paradiski, as do a number of smaller travel companies.
Are you staying with a chalet company? If so most companies, including us, can give you loads of information about getting from the airport to the chalet - just get in touch with them and give them your flight times and I am sure they will help.
Happy planning!

Really helpfull reply - thank you!
Nothing booked yet - we are fairly flexible, so waiting for a little more snow to arrive before we commit!

Dippy - be aware that if your elderly friend is too big to fit in a car (s)he may have to but two seats on the plane. Budget airlines are getting quite strict about accommodating the real heavyweights.

there's no suggestion that that is the case... I presumed there were just too many to fit in one car.

@Dippy, there are loads of easyJet flights from Gatwick to Geneva. And plenty of buses from Geneva to Paradiski. Not very frequent except on Saturdays though - and quite expensive.

Oh well that has definately made me laugh - yes you are correct already x4 in car.
We can take his skis and luggage (huge boot)!
Now just need to find a chalet that will accomodate an odd number!
Thank you all
