We have skiing down to the village level in Saas Fee from Friday, but not all lifts likely to run until mid December if previous years are to be believed. Looking forward to getting out there in 3 weeks time.

Sölden opens the Gaislachkogl and Giggijoch areas tomorrow, so the Glacier AND the Winter ski areas are open. I don't think many of the Gaislachkogl lifts will be open but it looks like all the Giggijoch ones will be.
The St Johann/Alpendorf lifts open tomorrow and the link across to Wagrain will also open

Even though our early season bookings are remarkably strong I wish the UK mdia would be as quick to jump on "resorts opening early" as they are on "there's no snow for Xmas, global warming catastrophe, alpine skiing doomed"

Is anybody based in or near Montgenevre, can't find anything for it on this years reports but its meant to be opening this weekend. Webcams are showing a sprkinkling but any local feedback would be great!

Only one blue run open but all the way to the town. Not too bad condition. Sportgastein put back a week. Guess not enough snow. (No snowmaking to top of SG).
