Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Updating CC details on APRR Doofer

I no longer use the credit card that was in my APRR doofer account so decided to chnage it. I used a VISA as there was no longer the option to use AMEX and went through the €1 payment and had an acceptance email. Going back in to my account shows: "Type de carte : CB". Previously it said "Type de carte : AMEX." Any idea why it is showing CB and not VISA?

@Gaza, I think the CB probably stands for carte bancaire, which for a visa debit card would be right. Does that make sense do you think?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@andy1234, it is a Visa Credit and not a Visa Debit card. There was the option to select CB, Visa or Mastercard and I definitely selected Visa.

I'm no expert on the french banking system but im pretty certain its short for Carte Banciares which is frances national interbank system and provides products and services as well as payment systems.

You can get Carte Banciares issues in france as we get debit cards from our banks and they can be CB only or co-branded with visa/mastercard.

I'm sure someone on here can explain it a bit better than I can. I believe it is similar to how there use to be the switch/solo issues cards here in the past and then there were some cobranded with maestro.
