When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ben's Bus cancel Chambery Schedule

I e mailed Ben's Bus today and they have had to cancel their scheduled service from Chambery this year, Altibus is now the only game in town from a scheduled bus point of view.

I wonder if it was pure economics (ie they were not making any money) or whether there is another reason?

yeah i discovered this yesterday, however altibus seem to have a decent number of buses on and i think worked out cheaper than ben's bus

Hi everyone, it's Ben from Ben's Bus.

I'm really sorry that we couldn't get Chambery up and running this year. It wasn't an economical decision, more a service level one. We just weren't able to get the timetable and set-up endorsed so that we could deliver the high standards our customers are used to. This year we've added Lyon http://www.bensbus.co.uk/lyon-airport-ski-transfers/ to our existing routes (from Grenoble http://www.bensbus.co.uk/grenoble-airport-ski-transfers/ and Geneva http://www.bensbus.co.uk/geneva-airport-ski-transfers/ ) and we're hoping that the powers that be will be suitably impressed with this for us to have a little more influence for next year. We've created a page for people showing all the available options from Chambery Airport http://www.bensbus.co.uk/chambery-ski-transfer-options/ and we'll be sending out a mailshot very soon to our customers to let them know what's happening.
