Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kinco gloves

My German Shepherd ate my Hestras and although I agree that as a brand they are great my quest to replace them is not likely to have the full support of my bank manager.

So today bought kinco 910s for the princely sum of 15 quid (currently stuck in the US). Two questions. Firstly what is the best product to seal them and also is the recommended procedure to break them in that involves heating them in the oven worthwhile?

They're fine straight out IME. If you want to waterproof them more then I've used graingers glove balm from good motorbike shops.

Dunno about heating them up but I expect the tax and customs charge will sting a bit.

I thought there wasn't a charge unless it is for over £15.

I've used them or similar for years, after my expensive gloves were nicked when I started repping I've used nothing but. I have three sets all of which cost less than half of the Hestras. I used baked them in the bottom oven of the AGA for 5 mins and coated them in Snow Seal beeswax and they have been prefect. Mine get abused too, I use them for course crewing and the hold up to the punishment.
