When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anybody recommend where I can get a decent base repair on my Jones board.. preferably in the London area?

I have had a professional ptex repair on it which lasted two days and I have done regular ptex repairs to it myself throughout the season.
The location of the damage couldn't be in a worse spot :/
I guess it needs part of base cutting out and repairing properly?

Spyderjon mentioned a guy in Essex sorry I cant help more but a quick mail to the piste office might get help .
I think he worked from home on reputation so imo is better than a chain store with some kid fixing it as quick as poss.
Having had a few repairs fall out from shop kid work a difference does exist using a pro on a good high use board.

@MikeS_76, Sounds like you've had a core shot & your so call professional repair was a dodgy candle job compared to a pucka welded repair on top of a metalgrip foundation layer.
