Please can you spend a few minutes filling out the survey, a friends son is off at end of November to pursue his dream of becoming a ski instructor. He is doing his level 4 BASI and as part of this has to submit a project and has chosen to do one on the use of ski helmets.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
THE SURVEY IS OPEN FOR NEXT 6 WEEKS.
Many thanks

Hmmmm, done it but can't think of 3 reasons why I wear a helmet?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hats made my head itch! now I have age-related short hair, the helmet keeps my head and ears warm!

I did the survey. Was irritated by the first question though - my "snow sport activities" include XC skiing and nobody wears helmets for that!
The question "were you measured for your helmet" had me stumped. The grammar suggests that somebody else did the measuring. I measured myself at home using a tape measure. So I answered "no" but possibly should have said "yes".
The question about encouraging safer skiing was ambiguous - I took it to mean "does wearing a helmet make people ski in a safer manner" and answered "no" . But if it meant "does the wearing of helmets make the sport of skiing safer" my answer would have been "yes".
Still,I don't suppose it matters one jot!

My second reason as to why I wear a helmet is that it is somwhere to put my gloves when I am not skiing! But I have genuinely filled the survey out to the best of my ability. It would be interesting to see his conclusions when he finishes his project.

my second reason is that it facilitates listening to music - that might have been a good topic for some research.

1) because it encourages my kids to wear one
2) because it keeps my wife quiet

Great! A poor survey with 12 responses (at least) - now I feel no obligation to put myself through it. Thanks folks.

Just wasted 5 minutes doing a pretty irrelevant survey. Some pretty stupid questions

Well in that case you've succeeded. I'm absolutely furious, obviously.

Same here. Put that down as my 3rd reason.

My 3rd reason, and often actually the most important one...
"Protects against idiots bringing bars on chairlifts down too quickly!"
My helmet has saved me from more bashed heads due to that than it has in falls.

done. Main problem with my helmet is that I look like Wallace (from Wallace and Gromit) wearing his motorbike helmet
