Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morning all,

Off to Serfaus next January and need to sort out transfer from Airport to Resort; What would be the most cost effective/convenient option in your opinions?

Your suggestions appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Depends for how many really to work out the most cost effective -

We used http://www.gangl-transfers.at/ for Ischgl and they were very good for four of us. Picked up from arrivals and dropped off at the hotel door and vice versa on return.
They also do seats on group buses which would be cheaper if there is less than four of you.

to be honest Innsbruck is only a short journey, and there is no real need for a car when you are there (the villages are very well connected). I've always used a taxi between Innsbruck and Serfaus-fiss. all pricing is pretty well identical, just pick one from the serfaus-fiss website. (I think I used Kammerlander last time).

Alternatively fly to memmingen Ryanair, or Freidrickshafen with monarch and hire a car. sixt always works well for me.

Depends on how many people you're booking for. Train to Landeck and bus to Fiss is easy enough, but there are plenty of private transfer companies too.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

That's a whole lot cheaper than a taxi unless there are dozens of you.

Yep, if there's a few of you taxi is convenient and not too expensive. Also used throughout taxi which was reasonably priced.

I am a very big fan of private transfers, they are of course not cheap but in terms of the overall value add to a weeks holiday we will always do so. Everyones choice of course. Anyway Innsbruck we would use whitedescents. I think the are still forum members and cannot recommend them highly enough based on our transfers from INN to Obergurgl

We got a taxi down from Serfaus to the train station last new year and iirc it cost €50. The taxis are pretty much all minibuses so could take half a dozen easily.

Great ski area by the way!
