Read the reviews but has anybody used these skis mainly on piste with a bit of off piste? ?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

This is exactly was my week in Jan this year. Very easy ski and suited me perfectly, with a bit less stability at a ver high speed. Iam 188cm high and 90 kg and like to push skis and ski fast where conditions allow. Very easy and intuitive ski would be my summary.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Last season played with them for a day - on piste, very little off though as was the end of season and getting a bit thin.
I'd agree with @mooney058 - an easy ski, not quite as playful or charging as some Scott skis. But goes most places with confidence and ease. (I'm shorter and lighter than him, but was probably on a smaller model!) not 'easy' as in a beginner ski, just very easy to get to grips with and get going without any stress. Very pleasant to ski, though nothing very exciting about them that made me want to buy them over anything else (I like quite lively skis!).
Edit: if you look under snowBase >> skiBase at the top, there are a few sH scores of these - all rather decent scores!

Cheers.... i saw the scores. . Ive been on x wing 10 for 7 years and was hoping they would be easier o my knee. Akso. Is it worth having adjustable bindings or fixed ones like marker griffons .. ??

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@yorkshirelad, If you're close to Otley go to Glide and Slide, they've got 30% off Scott skis at the moment, and I believe they have some "The Ski" left. They can also mount bindings if you have your own.

cheers for that, have been looking on the net for cheapest ones, not many my size around, looking at the Marker Griffon bindings, better reports than the Scott NS10 and 12's... bit of a treck to Otley so usally go to BACs in Halifax.
again some great offers on the internet, not been to Glide and slide since i bought blades for my kids ten years ago.

@yorkshirelad, G&S has changed dramatically in recent years, it's worth checking out there website as they have an excellent net-based sales/support. Or alternatively give them a call to see what they have on offer as a deal/package to suit you. Undoubtedly G&S have great personalised sales and customer support backed up by decades of ski experience. There's some decent beers in Otley too!

I have The Skis, and I love them. Easy and fun for me (I am 165 and 55kg, have 155cm) on piste and bumps and powder. However I am only an intermediate and have not really anything to compare them to! I think they're great though
