Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is there any cost benefit in getting one in advance online? Also, I have one from earlier in the season - can I top that up cheaper than getting a new one?

If you have a Pass Tignes (cost €10 valid for 3 years) you can recharge it online and save 5% as an adult.

If it is not a Pass Tignes then no.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Dibergio, I've just booked a couple of passes and one of the questions is whether you have a card, so maybe, did it via the Val site http://www.valdiserepass.com/en/ option is on 2nd or 3rd page if i remember correctly...

@chocksaway sounds like they know what they're on about though so i may have mis-interpreted what the site was saying (didn't pay much attention as i've not done France before)

The offers and discounts vary between the 2 resorts (even though the lift companies ultimately are owned by Compagnie des Alpes). But you do have to pass through a Val 'gate' first if you buy on the Val site and vice versa so buy from the correct site for your holiday.

And also the lifts needed to get you back have different shutting times depending on which resort you got your pass in ie tommuse shuts 15mins later if your from tignes
