Poster: A snowHead
|
We are a high school engineering group trying to improve ski bindings. The problem with ski bindings today is that when not on flat ground they are difficult to get into. With this survey we are trying to get input to see who has this problem and if others would be interested in an improved ski binding system.
Please take this survey. If the link does not work please answer the following questions below.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@PT and J, the main point of ski bindings is how they release and protect the leg from injury when correctly set.
If you have been taught properly, there is no great problem in putting skis on whilst standing on a slope, nor in deep snow.
The main problem for many people is ensuring that enough snow is knocked off the underside of their boot, and is not built up on the binding. This seems to have been partially solved by better boot design and/ or materials - my new boots seem to have a lot less build up than I have ever experienced before.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Not sure that putting them on is the main problem just that people don't know the tail in the snow 45deg trick. Or just buy bindings like Look\Rossi with a dildo you can pull up at the heel.

Never realised that Look/Rossi bindings came fitted with them

This question seems a bit presumptuous. At the very least there should be a 0-50 range. And I assume you're talking UK pounds.
