Some nice photos; I particularly like the bit about the chinless wonders...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

For damage limitation, the least they could do is make sure as few people as possible near them can tell they're linguistically challenged (speaking from "bitte" experience)...

There's been some more snow overnight, it was mixed a little with rain lower down I think but there's a lot of fresh snow at the top.
|
Does that snow consist of "freshies", or is it "pow", I get confused
Looks like a pleasant day, what were the temps like?

Sharkymark, it's a lot better, it's exceptional really the lift company made a big splash of opening every lift and run on opening day and opening some lifts in November. Adelboden and Lenk have been the same, some other well known Swiss stations haven't been so good, the Valais hasn't had too much snow and other places in the Berne area struggled to get much open before Christmas.

Don't know but it's hard work on slalom skis I can say Slightly heavy in places.
|
Why did you choose to use your slalom skis, interesting choice for those conditions? Your photos make it look more a Zag's day
