Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am looking for a "Val Moret equivalent" as not enough rooms for our party (not surprisingly). They did recommend Domaine De Foolz but this is also fully booked. Looking for a pool/spa area and a good restaurant with typical French food around the same kind of price as Le Val Moret (which is about €99 for a family room and around €100-€150 for a meal for 4). If anyone can recommend anywhere, ideally no more than 20 mins from the A39 I'd be most grateful.
Thanks

@mini_mo
, further North there is the Auberge de Moissons just outside Chalons, 5 minutes max from A26, but I am not sure that the pool is open in winter (I think it is outdoor). We've stayed here before, but no spa.
Auberge du Lac
at Mesnil-St-Pere (same autoroute junctions as Val Moret.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Also, have a look at the Logis de France website. You can search by area and see on the map how close they are to your route.

@mini_mo
, we like it here but haven't stopped long enough to do much apart from eat, sleep, eat, depart
We have found the duplex rooms great for the family as it means you are not cramped. It's about 20 mins off the A26, and a tiny bit more to get back on southbound, so not as convenient as the Val Moret but quite a pleasant detour.
