Off to Tignes in a week and just wondering about getting my Ski's waxed, they aren't mine so never done it before but been told they need doing, now would it be easier to get them waxed the day I get to tignes or have them done at home? and what I the general price of having them done? thanks.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

@GO1996, Easiest would be Tignes.. take them to (almost any) ski shop and ask for a wax. They'll be done overnight. Probably an idea to get the edges done too. Unless major damage don't have a "full service" as this will involve a base grind.. instead just an edge and wax.
Of course if you a near a UK shop they could to the same (Edge and Wax for example !) --- but prob easier to manage in Tignes.
NB --- it's "Skis" not "Ski's" unless you are a grocer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Get them done when you arrive. Take them to the ski shop on the road behind the Palafour lift between the Post Office and Cafe Flo. I can't remember the name but they have a good reputation.

Waxing your ski's base?
I'd get both of them done at the same time

@GO1996, Turn left out of your hotel, the shop is about 50 m up the hill on the opposite side of the road. Shop owner Guy Clarey.
