Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Outdoor Research Revolution Gloves

 Poster: A snowHead

Has anyone used the Outdoor Research Revolution Gloves?

I was going to buy a pair but the assistant in the shop put me off saying they're not that warm. This shouldn't generally be a problem when moving, but obviously I dont want to get cold fingers on the lifts etc.

Can anyone give me some feedback or suggest another similarly priced glove (they're currently £48 from Snow & Rock).

I ideally want a pair with leather palms and wrist straps. but they're not essential. I would consider paying a little more for a decent pair of Hestras or something.

Thanks in advance.

I had a pair a couple of years go that I got whilst in Canada. They were pretty good as I remember (January in Lake louise is pretty cold), I particularly found the removable liner useful, and hygenic. Wish I still had them, I've struggled to find any thing that was as good since.

OR definitely get the thumbs up from me Very Happy

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I used these for the first time this year, and my hands suffer badly in the cold. I found them fine down to about -5 or so, even when sat on windy chair lifts. Much lower than that, and I wear mitts. They've got a handy pocket in the inner glove to stash a heat pad too. £48 is a bit of a bargain Very Happy
