Hi there! We are a group of advanced on piste skiers coming to courmayuer area for 4 days of skiing. Any suggestions for a reasonable mix of areas? Would you do two days la thuile and two courmayuer? Would you do one day via the shuttle to chamonix? Any other suggestions are most welcome. Thanks much!!

Sounds as if your group is good enough to ski out the pistes in Courmayeur in less than a couple of days. If you're staying in Courmayeur and take the big cable car up to Plan Checrouit, this can get busy at peak times, as can the gondola up from there. Head high to Cresta Youla, usually freshest snow, and from here the OP down to Zerrotta. The north facing slopes such as Bertollina, and Diretta are decent pistes, as is the Plan de la Gabba area. Don't expect big mileage skiing, but enjoy the on mountain eateries (Maison Vielle especially). Defo go to la Thuile! some half decent skiing on the not so challenging black runs down to the valley. And the interlinked La Rosiere is worth a visit just for the skiing back into La Thuile.
As regards apres ski late afternoon, Bar Roma on Via Roma. If you want decent accommodation try Auberge de la Maison in the village of Entreves. If you want a magical culinery experience go to the Maison di Filippo in the same village Entreves.

Also Petit Mont Blanc at bottom of Zorratta lift a must- especially the suckling pig (great today!).
Pilier D'Anglier in Entreves great hotel. Alround great resort- maybe a bit short on piste but if you take in some off piste loads available for four days.

Chiecco also good- and a great experience but deserves 2+hours so basically forget skiing pm!

I know you said you are piste skiers, but have you thought about doing the Vallee Blanche from the Italian side? Fab day out, with no nasty arête to walk down at the start either. Whether you get to go or not is always weather dependent. A local guide is obviously a must, and they will arrange the equipment and transport back from Chamonix at the end.
