Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

We are arriving at Innsbruck at 1640 and then have a coach transfer (hopefully we won't be sat around too long at the airport) to St Anton. We are staying at http://www.skitotal.com/chalets/chalet-charon/ and have our ski hire through Ski Total which should be at Sport 2000 Jennewein Sports.

Do you reckon we'll be able to get the ski hire on arrival day?

I'm trying to decide when to book my first ski lesson and want to have had a few hours of skiing before the lesson, but also want it to be as early as possible in my trip.

According to the Sport 2000 website you can pick up from 5pm the day before your hire starts. http://ski-hire-sport2000.co.uk/faq/my-equipment/when-can-i-collect-and-return-my-ski-equipment

But the details of opening times won't load at the moment, so you'll need to check direct with them.

If thye close at 7 I doubt you'll make it, if they close at 8 you might just. It sounds like the accommodation is pretty close to the rental shop. You could give them a ring +43 5446 28 300 . They all speak English.

If you can it is worth getting them the day before, it's a scrum first thing on a Sunday/Monday.
