Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is the Skiers Edge good for keeping the back supple?

I've just posted but changing title as keen to hear if anyone with lower back stiffness has found this equipment helpful in keeping back supple and reducing pain etc? I find I have no stiffness when i'm skiing but sadly this is just 1 or 2 weeks of the year! Thanks Fiona

No idea but I think core strength is most important

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Can't really answer your question definitively as I only had my first go last night! But I'd say IF your back is not so bad that you are capable of using it - and it is quite a workout - then the overall conditioning could only be a good thing. It mainly works the legs, but core gets a good work out too.

And as I'm here, I'll just ask if anyone has an instruction manual for the machine? I found my machine on ebay and self explanatory as it is, it would be nice to see instructions for setting resistance bands etc.

@fionashield, have you seen a good sports physio about ways to keep your back/core strong and supple? Could be a lot cheaper....
