Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski boot advice please! for strong intermediate/advanced level All mountain

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi everyone!
I recently bought some Fischer Maven skis, and I need some advice about boots. The Salomon quest series were advised but I think they might have too much flex for me as I do like to go fast while I muck about a bit.
I'm a strong female skier looking for a size 26 boot, and have a budget that will only very reluctantly be pushed higher than £120.

I love the design of the Salomon quest series...but warmth, comfort and performance come first.

Any help is very very appreciated.

Chapelski xx

Go to a good boot fitter and take their advice. If you tell us where you're based I'm sure there'll be recommendations of someone near you.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

warmth, comfort and performance is pretty much the holy grail...
If you have found a quest boot for £120 then that is a pretty nice price.
They are a good all-mountain boot and are responsive enough to do a bit of anything in (mine are 120's).

@sugarmoma666 has given you all the advice you need! Forget design, colour, brand, all that matters is the boot fits you and does what you need in terms of performance.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks guys... I'm near Milton Keynes (sort of) so I might go and have a try on for more advice, but the info you've given me & opinions on the Quest is rely helpful. Blush Cool
