Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Left luggage - Chamonix

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Evening all. This is a desperate call for information on left luggage facilities in Chamonix. Long story short, we may need somewhere to leave our bags tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, or else we will miss 0.5 of our rather short 2.5 days on the slopes. Is there anywhere that can help us out? Chamonix railway station's website has an enigmatic one-line message saying that they have left luggage facilities, but nothing more detailed. There are vague rumours of ski hire places offering it - is this true (and if so which ones)? Any ideas gratefully received!

@vinerower, if nobody comes up with any other ideas, maybe if you have lunch at one of the restaurants in town, and leave a generous tip.......

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There are def lockers at GM if you're skiing there. Not sure about other areas, but it would make sense to have some at the railway station.

Otherwise follow @pam w's suggestion. Gustavia do food/drinks and have a big reception area - they've been happy to look after a couple of bags for friends for a few hours before.

Here is a list of all the train stations in France that have left luggage facilities. And Chamonix is not among them.

Perhaps the best thing would be to call the tourism office and ask?
