Regular mail works, but it needs at least a week. Stick in ski bag, tape up well, stick a label on and post to your destination. Email hotel to expect them. Rates depend on weight, and there's usually maximum dimensions, but I've done this several times and it's great.

found a company called luggage mule and it is charging me 89.99 for 2 set of skis collected from my house straight to hotel and back 4 days later
