Bit early yet and it tends to be a bit haphazard as to when they do. The year before it wasn't until ealy March, last yers a bit earlier I think.

I've managed to avoid Maria Carey and Robbie Williams. But did see the Killers a few years back. Amazing! Though I personally think the crowd would've preferred the Hof!! God help us all...euro pop!

A few years back they had Nina Hagen of 99 Red Balloons fame. Nina stayed at our hotel and was rather cute and very polite. However, some of the band upheld their rocker status by insisting on smoking in the dining room at breakfast.
We had to ask the head waiter to sit them in a special area behind a curtain so they didn't spoil our uber-healthy organic tyrolean muesli.

The rumour I heard was ACDC but I think that's just people seeing that their European Tour starts in early May and putting 2 and 2 together.

Pretty sure I saw an ACDC cover band in ischgl in 2011 just outside the Trofana Alm, in the days up to closing. Or was it Motörhead? Anyone remember?

That's ok, plenty of time to decide if it's worth going. Deep Purple were good. Other places eg Solden do similar things. It's a bit dependent on the timing of the religious holidays and stuff - last year I think easter was early or late or the moon was wrong or something so some places closed a bit early.
