Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Dutch catered chalet holiday providers

I've just discovered that the dutch market for catered chalet holidays seems to be very much better value than the english market. I've seen caters chalets for around 600 euros per person for feb half term next year, compared with around £800 from UK based companies. I stumbled across a company called wens chalets and have emailed them. I found one other by putting nl in with search. Anyone speak dutch and care to help me in my search?? I need a huge chalet for 15+ 2 cots. i don't mind where but we'll need to look at childcare options. I thought there might be some other bargain hunters out there whore interested in my discovery!

This one might do - http://www.skibasics.com/catered-chalets/chalet-marini.htm

Peak price this year was c£11,500 for 20 beds, so that's under £600 pp. Big recommendation for the company too.

@Noo72, I have stayed at this place a couple of times and it's very good

One thing to bear in mind is that there is no booze included in the price at this one - not sure whether that applies to Dutch operators generally. That said, both times we have been, we have been surprised how small our drinks bill has been at the end of the stay

there is also this place nearby:

haven't been there myself but have heard good reviews

I've never posted on Snowheads before (not getting enough skiing in recently to have much to add) but I can vouch for chalet solneige near Vaujany, linked above. We stayed there about five years ago. It compared favourably to UK owned chalets. I can't remember how the price worked out. It would work best if you have your own car as it is 5 mins down the mountain from the village and the lifts, although the owners will drive you up and down (or at least they did 5 years ago).

Hope that helps.
