 Poster: A snowHead

Hi fellow snowheads,
I am heading to Vallandry at the end of March. The main reason we are going (apart from skiing of course) is that it is my little bruvvers 50th. I want to arrange a big evening with all the family to celebrate but as I have never been to Vallandry, or Les Arcs at all for that matter, can anyone recommend a really nice restaurant in the village? We will have cars, but prefer not to drive, however if there is a really nice place within reasonable distance I will consider it.

Yep, Chez Felix is good. Where are you staying? La Vache is lovely but a bit of a walk up the hill - nice downhill walk after a delicious meal though

La Vache would be great. There's a table in the back corner which is probably good for a big group 8/10 (if my memory serves me correctly). if you want poncy then the standard recommendation is L'Ancolie but that's down the hill in Nancroix which could involve transport fun/bus/taxi as appropriate.
But yes as genepi states it's a little dependent on where you're staying

I would also recommend La Vache, we had lunch there on Friday and the food was delicious. Also had dinner at Le Solan, right behind the snack bar next to the Vanoise Express and the food was also very good!
