Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi, as per the title I was hoping to pick up a catsuit in or around Chamonix.
I'd prefer to be able to try one on as opposed to buying online and thought I'd get one cheaper out here than back in the UK.
I tried Aux Vieux Campeur in Sallanches but they only had 2 in stock, a small and a medium. I've never seen any other shops in Chamonix stocking suits so was hoping for some help.
Cheers,
Martin

@martinr007, Either Vola in Passy for Energiapura ones or you could try the POC shop in Chamonix itself.
Once you are in the car it wouldn't take that long to get to Ski Clinic in Cluses.

@martinr007, Catsuits are pretty specialised and normally only available in race shops. I can't think of many resorts that have a specialised race shops. Believe it or not race gear is just as cheap in uk as in the alps.
If you are interested I have a brand new VIST team GB DH/SG catsuit for sale. It's unpadded and will fit up to 5' 11" & around 80kg.
Was looking for £150 for it.
PM me if you are interested and want some photos

@davidof, if that would fit a 6'2", 14.5 stone male I'm in, I think the tail might help with stability?
Thanks rjs, I'll take a trip down by vola or clauses and see what I can get.
Cheers,
Martin
