Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

@Philip1972, Tignes will have more snow than anywhere else in the vicinity because there is not just the glacier but a lot of high altitude skiing. There wouldn't be any point going anywhere else (that's why everyone from miles around will be heading to Tignes.... Twisted Evil)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

More skiing available in Val Thorens this week, I believe. Very good piste conditions today above 2400m, even had some nice off-piste yesterday. Not too busy (no lift queues). However, nowhere locally has lots of snow.

that's laughable - there's pretty much zero snow in Les Meniures, 'fresh' or otherwise

I don't believe anywhere in France has 50cm of FRESH snow.

I have a friend who lives in St Martin who is travelling daily to Tignes as there is no snow in St Martin Puzzled

Checkout my post in the Tignes thread to see what lifts are opening this weekend. I don't think anywhere else in France will have as much mileage available.

 You know it makes sense.

At around 3000m 2Alpes is reporting 80cm, Alpe d'Huez 75cm, Tignes 50cm and Val Thorens 90cm.

I believe people heading to La Rosiere this weekend are being sent to Tignes each day on a bus. Sounds like Tignes is doing better than most.
