I must of watched every ski related movie on there now, much to the detriment of work that gets done at work, need a few more now.

US Netflix has a series on the making of The Art Of Flight, which I actually found much more interesting than the film, but it doesn't look like it's available on the UK site.

Have watched a couple of ski movies on Netflix, such as:
- Downhill Racer: The 1847 classic starring Gene Hackman and Robert Redford.
- First Descent: Made by Universal pictures.
- The Last of the Ski Bums: Dick Barrymore made one of the best movies of all time.
However, can't find more recent movies like Penguins of Madagascar online.. any suggestions on where to find such flicks?

I'm eagerly awaiting "Avalanche Sharks" to appear on UK netflix.
I mean what more could you need - a bikini contest in a remote ski resort and man eating snow sharks awakened by an avalanche

Don't use Netflix but Art of Flight and the like are available on Red Bull TV site, think they may have Days of my Youth now too (and probably the Making of Art of Flight that arcticfox mentioned). I also managed to find The Recruitment & The Masquerade on Youtube/Vimeo, both from Sean Pettit and a bit conceptual with a sort of 'plot' running in the background. Interesting idea and I quite enjoyed them, in particular The Recruitment...although not sure they'll be to everyone's taste.
FYI this 2 year old thread was revived by a purveyor of canned pork products (now deceased) - but don't let that stop you

@5pike, yes! Love that resort section, it's just a bunch of mates having a laugh and messing about. In the same vein is the Dream Trip video that Salomon did last year, you get the feeling that the guy who won was genuinely getting on well with the pro skiers.

@suggul, yeah some laugh out loud moments, no wonder your 1st wife left you was a good one.
Cinematography was good and the closed in feeling was very intense.
Won't be everyone's cup of tea but gets a thumbs up from me, cheers for recommending it
