Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi folks
I am off to Serfaus in Austria with my family. Has any one been there that can give me an opinion on the resort and its facilities. Any recommendations gratefully accepted.

Firstly,
spursfan
, you'll be pleased to know that there are no gooners there, in fact hardly any brits at all. I think it is a real gem for families for many reasons. Firstly, it is a very easy transfer from Innsbruck airport, the village is car free and you hop on an underground train (that runs on a cushion of air!) and links all the hotels with the lift station. At the lift station there is a huge and very efficient ski depot and everybody uses it. In terms of uplift and getting kids and gear from hotel to mountain I reckon it is superb.
The pistes are immaculately groomed every night so intermediates and below can really flatter themselves and get plenty of miles in. actually there's a good article about serfaus at
www.snowmagazine.com
- very accurate.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Many Thanks for the info. Luckily not many gooners go skiing, i guess i will have to put up with the Chelski fans instead. As a matter of interest do you have any experience of the ski schools there for my children aged 5 and 7 who are both first time skiers.
Cheers
