Just looking and juggling between Saturday transfer or a Sunday transfer.
Personally I usually prefer Saturday so that it gives me time to chill out at home and be relaxed before work on the Monday. It seens more and more are Sunday transfers now.
What do you prefer?

The one which is different from the rest of the resort so I can get a day on empty pistes

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Saturday is good in that gives you the extra day's rest when you get back.
I prefer Sundays though. Quieter airports, you get to have a fullish weekend before you even leave (often meeting up with your holiday buddies for the day/evening before), and the last day is Saturday and therefore very quiet on the slopes.

On a peak week Sunday is far better from the point of view of time wasted in traffic jams and lift queues but doesn't always fit in with ski school timings. Sundays are becoming more and more busy at Geneva airport. I tell visiting friends and relations that I'll pick them up from the airport unless they arrive at weekends, in which case they're on their own.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thursdays - no mad crowds at the airports and the flights are always cheaper, often with spare seats on board too. Allows for some empty skiing before the weekend locals hit the slopes too adding to the fun

Thursday to Monday has always been great, Sundays would be my choice for a peak week in big resort.

Saturday if driving and Sunday if flying.

Hubby works on Sat am, and when we had one week ski trips and flew from our local airport I preferred a Sunday. It doesn't really matter now, but we tend to arrive on Friday or Saturday, even though our apartment changeover day is officially a Sunday,

Sundays. I just take the Monday off when I get back. It means the last Saturday is always nice and quiet on the pistes, and it's nice to have the Saturday before you go to pack all your crap.
