Hi all just booked a new year week in Saalbach for me and my partner. Looking at the piste map it seems you can ski the whole of the area om blues which is fantastic for my partner and me. Would appreciate any recommend routes or any info about the resort in general ie bars, pubs, clubs etc

The tatman guide is brilliant.... We used it a couple of years ago, and it was worth its weight in gold.
Other advice would be...
If you're staying anywhere near the centre of saalbach.... And you AREN'T the type to stay out drinking until 3am, then take earplugs and ask for a hotel room on the top floor. Saalbach is a party town, which was really great...but my motor runs down at 11pm, so this was the way to get some sleep.

No doubt this is a factor worth bearing in mind when booking accommodation. As you say, it's probably only a potential problem if you're in accommodation that is in the village centre, particularly overlooking the main street (Dorfstrasse). However you don't have to go far to get away from any risk of nocturnal shenanigans, and there's plenty of accommodation up our street (Skiliftstrasse), for example, which is quietly located, yet convenient for the skiing and après.

We are staying in Eva Village for Christmas. I can't tell from Tatman's info whether I need earplugs or not - I think it might be the case though!
