Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

wrongsideof30, We also had some very nice meals at the only restaurant at the bottom of the runs on the back of Mount Chery also in Les Gets we like Le Vieux Chien for traditional Savoyard cuisine. If you are looking for something a bit livelier the Boomerang bar is worth a visit.

have to 2nd greg and kevin there Wink but make you you don't damage the on piste either!
Vieux Chien? is that the one by Le schuss? if so I recommend it. Hut down back of Mont Chery is perfect place for a hot drink if it is icy cold and windy, after going along the mont chery ridge and down the shady/icy red.
Vaguely recall a terrasse facing the bottom of the pleney bit in Morzine just near the bubble. That was not bad, and perfect place if you need to meet up with someone.
Also a convenient (but very busy) place at top of the bowl (La Rosta?).

wrongsideof30, do I take it to mean you are 29 or more juvenile?

If the powder's good the Yeti black or red are fun. I can't believe it's open but if you can get to Chamossiere, it's fun too. Mont Cheri is definitely a playground, especially off the back. The restaurant at the bottom of the Cheri Nord run is called La Chanterelle and is well worth a visit.

La Rossetaz (sp ?), at the top of the Rosta piste is great, good value but busy (deservedly).

And Chez Nannon, on the Nyon plateau (if it's open...) is either fabulous, or, not.

In town, I'mnot so sure, someone else must know???

Is the one at the top of the Rosta called 'Le Mouflon'? (ie the one right at the top of 2 pistes).
There's another laid back a bit on the opposite side of the ridge-top track, which I've never been to, and I assume this is the Rossetaz or something?

andy, could be. To get to the Rossetaz you go up the Rosta chair, turn left at the top, ski down the ridge and it's on your right as you look down. The Sandwich Americain is great and the waitress has a very pert behind.

We had a wonderful flaming Tarte Tatin in Le Flambeau when we were there a few years ago...very memorable....the rest of the meal was excellent too.
