When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Roof collapses on ski rental shop ... due to weight of snow

As Natives say in this report, it's a somewhat ironic and funny news story ... thankfully because no one was hurt.

It snowed too much for this ski rental shop in the US ski village of Alpine Valley, Ohio ... so presumably the result is lots of snow ... and lots of frustrated skiers!

Not keen on the subtitle in this story at Natives. Fancy saying "About as Alpine as Aldershot" and then not giving any back up to that statement. Aldershot has a very nice Alpine feel, or at least a very small part of Aldershot has. There is a very nice dry ski slope at Aldershot, I learnt to ski there. At the bottom of the slope there is an Alpine style chalet.
