Anyone know the going rate for an off piste guide this year, for a full day, private group?

sorry, foxy, Europe, France in particular, seen Alpine Experience at 340 Euros (Val D'Isere) and Alagna (Italy) at 240 Euros, so just wondered what others had found!

gregh,
A couple of years back I paid the equivalent of £40 to join an off-piste group in Zermatt. We got that at the ski school/guides office. He was an off-piste guide accredited to the the school. It may have been a bit less, I thought he was good value tho' but basically lift accessed off-piste.
I've paid €240 pp for heli trips inc guide in Monterosa which have been UAIGM and I think I paid about £45 for all day UAIGM in the same region. Apart from joining the group in Zermatt, the others may be in groups of 4 which has made the day fee more expensive to slpit. We gave them €10 pp tip each.

JT,
No, just remembered, in Monterosa the price was for the lift and guide and they filled the heli up with as many as they could get in per trip. You just waited at the Col if you weren't all in the same heli. So it didn't seem to matter how many you were.
