Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Clusaz open for the season!

Poster: A snowHead
The snow is so good here in La Clusaz now that they have decided to keep the resort open after the weekend - opening a week earlier than expected!

It's quiet too and you get the pistes to yourself at the moment, so we are taking advantage of the fantastic snow and hitting the slopes every day this week.

If you fancy a two night weekend break with nearly three day full skiing, catch an early flight Friday morning and return sunday afternoon/early evening for just £99pp. Flights from Stansted are as little as £89.98 so you can have a catered ski break with transfers and accomodation for £188!!! What are you waiting for.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

gregh,

Yes we have space this weekend for 3 guys.

The three lifts it is refering to is for this week and the rest will be open on Saturday. As you can imagine there isn't a lot of people around during the week at the moment so it's not worth their while opening any more until the weekend. The piste bashers have been on all the slopes that aren't open yet - so they are ready to go - just waiting for the lift staff!
We are expecting tonnes more snow this weekend too!

As far as guiding - it depends how serious you want to be. Dave one of the hosts is a powder hound and will gladly take you up to play in the powder just of the pistes and through the trees, to escape doing his chores!. But if you want to do more serious stuff and go into the wilds we would suggest a guide with The Aravis Challenge www.aravis-challenge.com who charge 40euros for the morning and will take you in groups of up to 6. they come highly recommended.

Hope to see you this weekend!
