dbeatski, I was wrong! Booked hemsedal for half term. Doing DIY this year. Going to keep off that busy green run and spend all day chasing daughters down red 7 and the blacks. May even get some sunshine this year.

good stuff! but the cloud cover always keeps the snow in good condition and remember to buy spirits duty-free in the UK
saves a packet, mix it with what ever takes your fancy, berry juice and tap water for me, it lasts a week.

So relieved that we booked Hemsedal instead of France now....

@Fruity, yep, I think that Hemsedal is fairly reliable for snow. Not so good if you want a big resort or lots of drinks out. Quite a few runs open this week, and I expect nearly all will be open from Friday onwards.
