Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
I'm a 21yr old guy from London who is looking at spending the upcoming season in Mayrhofen.
I'm aware of the difficulties which many people encounter finding decent accommodation/jobs in Mayrhofen so I'd be hugely grateful for any advice or to connect with anyone else who is looking to season in the area. I've been given details for a few accommodation providers but it seems like a better bet may be further down the valley in Finkenberg or similar - would be interesting to see what others thought, or had experienced.
I'm an experienced skiier and snowboarder who values a day on the slopes over a night in the bars, but still game for a night out (hence the choice of resort!).
Thanks!

Maybe worth placing an add in the property section of the local paper. Costs about 15 euro and you may get someone with a room come back to.

There is a jobs page as well. Allot of seasonaires will stay at the gasthof zillertal first and then find stuff once they are here. It's not easy, but normally everyone gets sorted.
Good luck
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi TH1154, I'm in pretty much the same boat and posted in the resorts section. Hoping there's some experienced Mayrhofen seasonaires out there who can help! When are you looking at going out?

Hey, I was looking at heading out to Mayrhofen for a partial/whole winter season. Potentially will be keen to split accommodation if you know of anything…let me know!
(If easier, feel free to send an email to frasermenzies97 @ gmail.com - I'm not on here that often!)
Cheers
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've decided to head out on the 30 Nov / 1st Dec now and stay at the guesthof for a week till I get sorted, so if anyone fancies meeting up for a pint or two over that period, I'd be game!
