Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,
Going to ADH for the first time in January and was wondering if anyone has aphid any experience with the ski rental shops there? Any shops cheaper than others or any ones to avoid in particular?

Cheers,

Rich

Richpark, Welcome to SH. Where are you staying? I normally book my ski hire from a shop near to my accommodation (especially as we have two kids who need their stuff/some stuff carrying)

Richpark, yes as Shimmy Alcott, says where you are staying is important as there are different areas with their own shops. I have hired a couple of times .

I'm renting an apartment on Route d'huez near to the tourist office. I'm hoping that's fairly central to the bars, restaurants and lifts? A few people in my party are complete beginners so don't want them being put off by having to trail miles with their skis and boots! Any other hints and tips for having a successful trip to ADH would be appreciated thanks!

We're staying on Route de Coulet (or something like that) and we're hiring from Skimium at Bergers. You can book online now and get good discounts, there's a code on their site for discount plus extra discount for decathlon card and discount for 4 plus packs.

We used them last year (in Les Gets) and kit was good.

Hi, could anyone let me know which is the nearest ski hire shop to Hôtel-spa Royal Ours Blanc? It's on Avenue des Jeux. Thanks.

Have any of you guys ever used Sport 2000 Ski Service 2001 for ski hire? It looks quite close to our hotel. Could anyone vouch for them?
Thanks
