It would be great to see folks opinions on things , from the important down to the just downright frivolous. I suppose I just want to have something to read, as now that summer is over I just want to get into the skiing frame of mind.

I bought carvers a few years ago, then last year was told rockers were the future so I tried some fir a week... Hated them...
Is it the manufacturers that promote something new just to retain sakes once the ideas and technology druse up ?

Or just be like me and seldom buy new kit, lol. I have skis in the attic, but it works out handier for to hire them, the advantage is that I get what I want each time and get to chop and change if I choose while on the slopes. Rear entry boots , they seemed to die a death. I tried Rockers , and felt that I was just not getting the flow with them, so left them back and got carvers back. Have any of you ever tried a big foot? or my all time puzzle a monoski? those things look like far too much work for me. Lol.

biddpyat, time was, way back when, in the dim and distant, any old registered sH could start a poll - and we even got to the dizzy heights of multiple choices. Wow
Then they crashed and burned - and never recovered. 
I think Admin can set 'em up - but we all seem to get along without them.
