Poster: A snowHead

Quick question for people. We're driving from Geneva to La Tania on the Sunday before New Years Eve - what traffic conditions can we expect? Heard some horror stories but we've only ever been skiing outside of school holidays before and never had any problems. Is it likely to be hell??

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Sundays are rarely bad, and always much better than Saturday.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We always drive, and have been at New Year several times. The traffic has never been that bad and certainly nothing like the Half Term madness.

+1 And presumably you will ski on the final Saturday - good move!

Pam - yes, it's purely coincidence that we're doing Sunday to Sunday - driven by accommodation choice, but so far it's saved us a couple of hundred pounds over Saturday flights and yes, we're looking forward to having the slopes a bit quieter for our last day which will be a Saturday!
