Keep you posted... we are tying to get there from the 15th to the 21st-ish so that involves a W/E IIRC. And I would think that we should bug out to LG for the W/E to avoid crowds...thats my reasoning anyway... Hoping to be mobile so we would probably drive over or something..not sure yet.. Just trying to get a head count of who is where/when

JT, 8pm flight out of city airport!
Actually LDA probably won't be too bad even at that time if you have Easiski's inside knowledge on how to dodge lift queues, and are mostly skiing off-piste - I don't think it gets over-skied round there

Nick Zotov, I am v interested in this week and waiting for a mate to email back (non snowhead, yet).
I would be flying NCL-GVA getting in 16:15 or poss. later flight. Is there a possibility of car share ? (I know how to get out of Geneva with the main A1 closed - but only the long way round !!)

easiski, I am aiming for a week a month up an alp. I have some stuff to do, not least my tax return (I hope there is some cash left after Mr Brown gets his hands on it) and I hope to be shure early next week.
What offers are you referring to ? - I have already found a good late deal with Crystal (flight/transfer/accom) in 'chalet emilie'. but I am open to suggestions.

There's 8 of us flying out from Gatwick around 13:25 I think -
3 are good skiers - 1 of these can also snowboard well, the other 2 are ok on snowboards.
2 will be snowboarding the whole time (both novices) - they might have a few lessons whilst there
me I'm awful, skiied years ago - spent most of my time on my bum!! Hoping to have a few lessons this time and get good - fingers crossed for me lol
1 doesn't ski and the other is a kid.
RU skier or boarder, any good etc?

lampbus, I have to do mine too. I put my friends catered apartment offer on the forum yesterday. I'm sure you can get on a flight that ties up with Nick (arriving GVA mid afternoon) then you could share car which would be easy for both and quite cheap. apt is cosy and food very good. Close to lifts etc. Flights should still be pretty cheap I think to GVA, Grenoble, chambery or Lyon!!!
