Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine/Les Gets short break

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all

I'm looking for a catered chalet for a 4 night break with a friend, arriving Thurs 29th Jan, departing Mon 2nd Feb. We're very much tied in to those dates, but most places I've tried can only accomodate Thurs - Sun, or Sun - Thurs. Does anyone know of chalets with a bit more flexibility in terms of arrivals and departures?

Thanks

I looked up somewhere that I know of in St Jean d'Aulps which is catered and specialises in weekends - and then looked it up and it appears they are booked for the dates you require. So not a lot of help, sorry. But here they are - Janet and Larry Croker at Chalet des Etoiles - www.alpinechaletweekends.co.uk

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi Pamski - thanks for that - tried them last week, but no joy.

Try these guys - had a fantastic long weekend with them winter before last http://www.lechaletholiday.com/

Edit: also have a look on booking.com - if you are really stuck there are some B&Bs in Morzine that also offer half board options, but you have to hunt around a bit...

ajpaul, why catered chalet? hotels easier to find for weekends and short breaks, esp. in town.

ajpaul, have a look at http://www.apexmorzine.com

It's a B&B and very close to both the Super Morzine lift and the centre of town. They don't generally do evening meals, but you're 5-10 minutes from nearly everything.
