Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For those who love touring or trekking or adventure we have set up a website - www.skitrek.eu- and FB page called funnily enough SkiTrek.
Sorry about the 'puff' but here goes...
SkiTrek is a website with contributions from individuals who are passionate about being in the mountains summer and winter.
We are building a ‘hub’ – a community across the web and social media to share our experiences and entice people, who love the mountains, and those who have yet to discover the delight of just being there.
SkiTrek hosts a community of adventure seekers, whether in the simplicity and silence of a gentle hike or ski touring in the world’s wildernesses. We aim to deliver a mosaic of information that anyone can tap into.

Our contributors are mountain enthusiasts of all kinds – mountain guides, flora and fauna experts, and students, ex-racers – people who have discovered the benefits of the unravelling of the spirit in the magnificence of the mountains. We host a forum to share information and comments on ski touring and hiking worldwide, so all can benefit as well as comments on places, gear, ability rating and technical information.

Our editorial policy is inclusive and global.
We seek content – articles, photos and footage- that will interest, inform and amuse our readers.
