Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi
My wife has an old pair of boots, probably about 6 years old and had its day having been retired this year. They are no good to us but seems a hell of a lot of kit to just bin.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

how many days on the shells? No harm in ebaying or donating them as they're barely old enough for plastic degradation if they aren't clapped out. a modern shell should be good for 150-200 days at least (more if most of those days spend lounging around mountain terraces possibly)

I once used my old shells as planters to add to the effect I put a pair of skis above my garage door and put my boots in the binding. I thought they looked good, Mrs ST wasn't so keen nor was my daughter whose skis I used.

skitech Don't understand your daughter's problem. Presumably you put summer bedding in the boots and they'll be well over before your daughter needs her skis.
