Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all ... just sorting one of next years trips and need some advice.
Group of 9 going Friday evening GVA to Meribel .... we are usually 8 and have used the excellent 3VT private transfer.
But ..... The extra person does not fit in the 8 seater minibus ...
Anyone know who has a slightly larger transfer minibus ?
Or is there an easy public transport route during the daytime on Friday ?

Altibus have a coach from Geneva to Meribel with a change at Moutiers, 4 journeys on a Friday and it is 140 euros return.
2013/14 timetable is here - http://www.alpski-bus.com/pdf/aeroski-bus.pdf and 2014/15 shouldn't be much different.

You will not be able to book it online until much later on in the year, probably November time.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

In law there is a BIG difference between carrying 8 and 9 passengers. Amongst other things the driver will need a special licence (category D) for 9 or more. PBJ, either you're gonna have to split the group or accept that it will difficult and expensive for you to travel together.

My advice would be to hire two 'intermediate wagon' type cars and drive yourselves. This is probably the cheapest solution.

After all it is free Go on u know u want to!

Just FYI You only need a full D licence for 17 upwards a D1 is sufficient doe 9-16 and a simple B for 8 seater minibuses.

We can offer you a quote, I will send you a PM.
