Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Flew out to Les Arcs last weekend with my family. Paid extra for two sets of skis (£120) and packed one set of boots in a suitcase, the other pair kept in a boot bag that I was going to take on as 'hand luggage'. The very helpful check-in clerk said that if I wanted to, I could check the boot bag in with the ski bag as long as the total weight did not exceed 20kg.
Now this was good news to me and I explained that I was happy with the outcome but it does not explain that anywhere I can see on the Easy Jet web site and perhaps Easy jet should make it clearer for their customers! If a boot bag and skis count as one 'sport package' then that is good news for all!
Sure enough on the way home, the check-in clerk in Lyon had to be persuaded by myself that this is the case. Fortunately he relented but come on Easy Jet, sort it your policy and make it clear for staff and punters alike!

I think it is somewhere on the website that by paying £60 you get skis and the boot bag. It is all about weight for easyjet in theory but of course the staff in France might have other ideas
