Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

If more than one of you, then hire a car.
Two schools of thought about the route.
1. Motorway down to Albertville - longer, but sometimes quiciker
2. Road alongside Lake Annecy - much prettier, but can be slow if lots of other traffic.
Once on the N90 just follow the signs snowHead

You can get shared transfers with some companies - just Google Geneva transfers and see what's there - you could do worse than look at the 3 valleys - look at latania.co.uk for frequent movie updates of the conditions and snowheads les menuires thread has daily photo / movie updates - hope that helps

My cousins used them recently & they were great - even stopping at the supermarket in the valley while they stocked up on supplies

+1 for coolbus - we use them for our guests and they get really good feedback.

They do do shared transfers but these aren't on the website so you need to e-mail them your flight details to ask about sharing.

Good luck!

Les Coches is a great place to stay IMO. I've stayed there several times including in mid-April in a poor end of season when they managed to keep the links to the higher altitude skiing and the Vanoise Express over to Les Arcs open. Champagny you may have to download in the cable car but other than that would be OK.
