Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'd expect a "TV" to mean one with working channels. I would certainly expect swimming pool and spa facilities to be in working order or compensation offered - it should be assumed that if people have paid more for accommodation with these facilities they will expect to use them.

Last year we booked a four start apartment with access to spa facilities/pool etc through Ski Collection. The accommodation was newly built and it transpired the pool/spa would not be ready in time. We were offered either a discount on the holiday or alternative accommodation with a pool..we chose the latter and were happy with our holiday and have booked again with them for this year.

We booked with Ski Power two years ago, the 'Sky' TV wasn't and the WiFi was if you put your hand out the window and leant out several feet with your iPhone/iPad. We complained, but nothing could be done.

We wanted the TV for our then 6 year old and during the one day it was a white out and we spent it mostly in the chalet. Then again, our boot warmers didn't exist, must have gone to the same place as our canapés, wine and hot breakfast! I could go on.....

K8T, you got far more than when we booked with ski power-we didn't even get a chalet-that disappeared somewhere between when we booked it in June & when they emailed us in September moving us from a sole occupancy chalet in Val D'Isere(for 12 of us to celebrate a friend's 40th) to a 70 room hotel in Les Deux Alps Puzzled
