Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For a chum who lives in CT, skis Mohawk Mtn, works in NYC...

I don't think he has particularly unusual feet.

Any suggestion please?

Thanks

for NYC he could try Jeff Rich, he doesnt sell boots but is a top fitter and will recomend a boot to be purchased, not cheap but he is in central NYC

or head to the hills, plenty of good guys in vermont or NH, Benny Wax, inner boot works Stowe, Bill Haight at first run ski shop and GMOL at Stratton

I had some fantastic sidas insoles made at a Peak Performance Ski Shop in Killington VT. They spent a long time looking and analysing my feet (apparently I had the worst shortened Achilles tendons the tech and manage had ever seen). This was back in 1997 and the insoles are still going strong. This would suggest to me, along with the excellent service I got that they are also great boot fitters.

They also thought I was a mad Englishman for recreational skiing using Marker MRR Race bindings with a DIN of 12-24 with serrated toe unit Shocked Shocked
