Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all
Does anyone know if the ski playground (esf run) at samoens 1600 allows children to attend Wednesday to Monday as opposed to their normal Sunday to Friday?
I have emailed esf but as yet no reply.
It says that badge testing is on a Friday so I'm assuming that they may not let us start on a Wednesday.
We've got a 4 yr old and a 5 yr old (beginners) so we're a bit stuck if they can't go to the piou piou club.

, there is also the halt garderie (creche) in Samoens itself, which has an arrangement with ESF at 1600. Children can attend ESF in the morning/afternoon and transported to and from the garderie (for a fee). You must book your garderie place and arrange the transfers with ESF beforehand. I think that the upper age limit is 6, so you may be able to go for private lessons for the children if the group ones are no good and you can get a good day's skiing in. We have used it in the past when the children were too young to spend all day skiing. Its really well run and our children enjoyed themselves there.
They do not operate on a Saturday, though.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
