Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Nendaz - child lift pass question

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, all. First post from me. Been skiing since a child, but only done a couple of weekends in the 7 years since my eldest was born.

Now my kids seem old enough to enjoy it, I've booked half term week in Nendaz - very excited! Smile

We're driving down, DIY rather than a package. But I'm a bit puzzled about lift passes for children: my youngest is definitely free but I'm not sure about my eldest who will 7 years 2 weeks when we arrive.

The ski school says 6 and under are free. A friend who has an apartment there (and a child who will be about 6 years 48 weeks) also says 6 and under are free. But the official Nendaz website says children born in 2007 and after are free. And that makes a difference.

I guess I can find out in the resort but I wanted to buy the passes in advance so once less thing to do when we get there.

Thanks in advance.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cheers. I suspect it might be season-related - ie 6 and under at the start of the season rather than switching half way through.

It is season related. In La Tzoumaz at Christmas, my niece qualified for a free ski pass, and they issued her a pass for the season!
